FAITH NETWORK RESEARCH ADVOCATE TRAINING PROGRAM

The Research Advocate Training Program prepares members of the faith community to engage in partnered health research and other activities that will improve the health and well-being of Arkansans, particularly those from vulnerable and underserved populations. The program also provides an opportunity for faith leaders to build upon the concept of “community-building-community”. The faith leaders with health research experience serve as mentors and advisors to those faith leaders who are new to research. The program includes 5 in-person training sessions and a 40-hour paid internship.
